Extracts from the meeting in MAY 2017 that relate to Springboard RA
KK had no response from Shell regarding meeting. This is still due to take place. New request for shell to contact DVLA first for driver details suggested.
There has only been one incident relating to customers of the pub The Star since changing over landlords from The Melbourne. This will be continued to be monitored by licensing.
DISCUSSION ON CRIMES AND POLICE FIGURES
Over the 3 month period February - April 2017:
Burglary, Theft from Motor Vehicle and Theft of Motor Vehicle are either level or showing a reduction with the same time period last year.
Out of the 8 burglaries (over the 3 month period) five had glass smashed on rear doors or windows. Two were front door entries and one was a garage burglary.
The 11 Theft from Motor vehicles (Over the 3 month period) ranged between opportunists trying car door handles, vans being broken into for tools and parts stolen off of vehicles.
We are beginning to regularly see high numbers of shoplifting at Sainsbury’sLocal Manor Road.
Making off without payments continue at Shell.
Street crime has mostly been Stop & Searches resulting in drugs being found.
Fly tipping has been seen to increase by residents. Incidents of fly tipping to be reported to council. If someone is seen in the act of committing fly tipping take down any details e.g. Registration plate of vehicle and description of those involved and contact the police on 101/999
